Fun, active, and confidence-building pickleball programs for kids and teens at the Reno Tennis Center, perfect for developing skills and making new friends.
Pickleball Built for Juniors
Junior pickleball at the Reno Tennis Center introduces kids to one of the fastest-growing sports in the country with an emphasis on fun, fundamentals, and character.
Our programs are designed for ages 7–17, with groups organized by age and skill so every player feels comfortable, challenged, and supported.
Junior Development Pathway
We use a clear pathway to help young players grow their skills and love for the game:
- Beginner Juniors – Learn rules, scoring, court awareness, and basic strokes in a fun, game-based environment.
- Developing Players – Build consistency with dinks, drops, serves, returns, and early kitchen-line strategy.
- Intermediate & Advanced Juniors – Practice transition footwork, shot selection, and point construction with more competitive drills.
- Junior Matchplay & Leagues – Apply skills in supervised matchplay, in-house leagues, and age and level-based events.
