Robert Unsworth Foundation

The Robert Unsworth Foundation is a Nevada based nonprofit dedicated to honoring the legacy of Robert Unsworth, a talented young tennis player from Reno who tragically passed away at just 22 years old in 2021.

The foundation helps underserved youth in our community experience the joy of tennis by providing funding for lessons, classes, mentoring, and equipment. By breaking down barriers to entry, we’re opening doors for children and teens from communities that don’t traditionally have access to the sport, empowering them to learn, grow, and find confidence both on and off the court.

Together, we can make tennis accessible to every child who dreams of picking up a racquet.

Community Tennis Events

To introduce more families to the wonderful sport of tennis, TNRS has hosted several free and low cost Family Tennis events providing complimentary tennis clinics and instructions at various TNRS sites such as the Reno Tennis Center.
